Ural Federal University: Cairo Students Interested in Studying at UrFU

From August 8 to 11, the EDUGATE education fair was held in Cairo, Egypt. This is not the first year EDUGATE has organized such exhibitions to attract applicants and students to universities in Egypt and foreign nations, including the Russian Federation.

The representatives of the Center for International Student Mobility and Recruitment Kamran Guseynov, Manager of the Center and Assistant of the Department of Theory and History of International Relations, and Sergey Zaryansky, Specialist of the Center, took part in it to present and promote the Ural Federal University among the citizens of Cairo and Egypt. During three working days, around 10 000 prospective students and applicants came to visit the exhibition. The most popular programs among the participants of the fair were Computer Science, Civil, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering and Medical studies.

“The event was organized at a high level. We have met many students from all over Egypt. The majority of them was quite interested in conducting their studies and research at the Ural Federal University, in Russia,” commented Sergey Zaryansky and Kamran Guseynov.
