Ural Federal University: Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Youth Policy

Evgeny Shurmanov, Director of the Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Youth Policy of Ural Federal University, paid a working visit to the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports.

The director of the institute met with the management and research staff of the academy and spoke about the capabilities of Ural Federal University and the institute. Evgeny Shurmanov discussed with his Kyrgyz colleagues issues related to cooperation in the field of sports science, exchange training, development and implementation of joint educational programs and conducting training camps in the Kyrgyz highlands.

In addition, there was a meeting with students of the Academy, where the director of the Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Youth Policy presented the I Open Student Games of BRICS and SCO universities and invited teams of the Academy to participate.

The final event of the visit was the signing of an agreement on further cooperation between the Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Youth Policy and the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports.
