Ural Federal University: New Double Degree Program with a German University

The Business School of the University of Pforzheim (Germany) which has the prestigious AACSB accreditation (USA), has become a new partner of the bachelor’s double-degree program of the Graduate School of Economics and Management (GSEM) of the Ural Federal University.

“In the frame of the program students can not only study in Germany and do a professional internship in German companies, but also receive two diplomas at once. The opportunity is provided to students of the bachelor’s program “International Economics and Business” on a competitive bilateral basis, without additional fees at the partner university. We hope that we will know the names of the first participants of the program in February 2022,” said Zhanna Belyaeva, head of the program.

Thanks to the new partnership with the Business School Pforzheim, students of the program can choose where to spend the third or fourth years of study and get a second diploma. This double-degree program has been already implemented with four partner-universities in Europe and Asia.

“The key partner of the program is KEDGE Business School (France)- the holder of the “triple crown” of international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA, EFMD), is among the top leading business schools in Europe according to the Financial Times. In 2021, 22 students, including 10 from France, earned a double degree, ” said Zhanna Belyaeva.

Graduates of the program value highly the international training opportunities at UrFU Graduate School of Economics and Management.

“I really enjoy my experience of studying at KEDGE, knowledge and skills got here help me to achieve success,” says Anna Bondyreva, a graduate of 2021, currently an intern at the international company ITER (Aix-en-Provence, France).
