Ural federal university: Rector Greeted Russian MFA Representative in Yekaterinburg
UrFU Rector Victor Koksharov received the Head of the Representative office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Russia in Yekaterinburg Attaché Mr. Aleksander Kharlov. The sides exchanged profound belief in cooperation development for the next years, as the university and MFA Russia have worked closely in recent years.
“It is always great to have our fellow colleagues from MID at the university. Since 2019, we are working closely on a number of international programs – both short term and full term – that engage youth and experts from Germany and Russia into a dialogue on energy and nuclear science. Thanks to MID’s support we are looking forward to have another large-scale project with Republic of Kyrgyzstan – we understand that our government pursues goals of deepening our relations with our partner countries,” – said UrFU Rector Koksharov.
Parties exchanged views on current situation with the lockdowns in the World, closed borders, finalized the results of the outgoing year.
Attaché Kharlov received special memory medal and card commemorating University’s 100th anniversary.
