“I think that our students performed well at the championship. They took part in it to try their strength among adults, to compare themselves with serious competitors, because next year they will have to compete in another category. I am also proud of our graduates. Despite the fact that they graduated, they keep in touch with the university, attend training sessions. Moreover, as the competition results show, not for nothing,” said Valeriy Filin, Ural Federal University Senior Armwrestling Instructor.
As a reminder, UrFU students will still represent the country in international competitions. According to the results of Russian Championship (held 3-5 March in Orel), Anton Petrov, Aleksey Zadiraka and Dmitry Luchinin were included in Russian junior team and will compete in September at the championship in Antalya (Turkey).
