Ural Federal University: The University Awarded the Best Teachers

The Ural Federal University held an awards ceremony for winners of the annual professional competition. The event was timed to coincide with Higher School Teacher’s Day, which is now celebrated on November 19.

The results were announced in three nominations: “Best Teacher”, “Best Assistant Professor” and “Best Professor”. Victor Koksharov, Rector of Ural Federal University, congratulated the 14 winners and presented them with diplomas.

Winners are selected on the basis of several criteria: awards of different levels, publication of monographs, textbooks and study guides, publication of articles, reports at international conferences, citation indices and others.

This year, the trade union received 45 applications from candidates in the following areas: engineering, natural sciences, humanities, psychological and pedagogical sciences, as well as socio-economic and social sciences.
