Ural Federal University: The University Celebrated the Student Group Day

On February 17, the Day of Student Groups was celebrated in Russia. The celebration was also held at the Ural Federal University. The Ural Federal University student group headquarters prepared different activities.

In the lobby in front of the assembly hall in the main academic building there was a fair where it was possible to learn about the directions of the groups and win different attributes. Also, the students sang their favorite group songs and took pictures in the colorful photo area with their friends.

It should be noted that the Ural Federal University student groups are the largest subdivision of the Sverdlovsk Regional Student Group youth organization and the largest university headquarters in Russia in terms of the number of participants in the movement. Today the Ural Federal University has 39 groups: 21 building, 5 train conductor groups, 8 pedagogical and 5 profile groups.
