“The planned Master’s programs will be closely related to research for the benefit of the country’s largest holding company, Kyrgyzindustry. Our scientists have outlined topics for joint research with Kyrgyz universities for industry. In particular, technologies of processing of mining and metallurgical wastes such as ores containing non-ferrous and noble metals, including technogenic wastes,” Koksharov said.

The Head of the university also noted the interest of the Kyrgyz side in integrating into the projects of the Ural Advanced Engineering School initiated by Ural Federal University and university programs for the development of technological entrepreneurship: participation of universities and enterprises of Kyrgyzstan in the Ural Federal University Accelerator and the university’s Startup Studio.

The joint Master’s program is also in the center of inter-university cooperation: UrFU has signed Agreements on implementation of joint programs with Bishkek Humanities University.
