Ural Federal University: University Professors Receive State Awards
On March 15, Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev presented state awards to 37 residents of the region for services to the Fatherland in various fields. Employees of the UrFU are among the awardees.
“In this difficult time for the country, your experience, talent, knowledge, energy, human wisdom and winning spirit are especially in demand. Today we should all unite even more and act as a single team,” said Evgeny Kuyvashev at the awarding ceremony.
Aleksey Babushkin, professor of the Department of Condensed Matter Physics and Nanoscale Systems, was named Honored Worker of Higher School of the Russian Federation, and Aleksandr Krasilnikov, professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, was named Honored Worker of the Nuclear Industry of the Russian Federation. In turn, Vyacheslav Markov, head of the Department of Physical Chemistry and Chemistry of Colloids, received the title Honored Chemist of the Russian Federation.
In addition, Professor of Department of Electric Engineering and Electrotechnology Systems Anatoly Plastun was awarded the Sverdlovsk region insignia For Services to the Sverdlovsk region of the 3rd degree, and the Head of the Department of Bank and Investment Management Mikhail Hodorovsky received a mark of distinction For Services to the Sverdlovsk region of the 1st degree.
