Ural Federal University Welcomes Chinese Students for Collaborative Exchange

The traveling exhibition of Russian education ended in Chongqing on March 27. The exhibition was attended by 18 Russian educational organizations and passed through the cities of Beijing, Xinyang, Hebi, Xi’an, and Yangling from March 20 to March 25.

Partner venues at schools and universities hosted the exhibition events. The closing ceremony took place at the People’s Government Square of Dadukou District in Chongqing.

Over 8 days, the exhibition events were visited by more than 5000 Chinese schoolchildren and students, who are potential applicants, as well as over 180 Chinese educational organizations, including schools, colleges, and universities, and more than 40 representatives of recruiting agencies.

The traveling exhibition format effectively recruits the best Chinese applicants and young specialists from the regions. During the events, representatives from Russian universities discussed scientific inter-university cooperation with heads of specialized higher and secondary educational organizations, following a logical structure.

Natalia Kovaleva, the representative of Ural Federal University, also met with representatives of the Russian House in Beijing. Tatiana Urzhumtseva is the Director of the Russian House in Beijing. Alexander Gurtov serves as the Executive Director of the Russian House in Beijing. Both individuals hold important positions within the organization.

Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia founded in 1920. UrFU is located in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural region, an economic, industrial, scientific and cultural center of Russia. The university is the project office of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center “Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials” designed for solving tasks of “Science” National Project.
