UrFU Considers Offering Russian and Persian Language Courses

Employees of the Ural Federal University held a meeting with the delegation of the University of Birjand (Islamic Republic of Iran). The University was visited by Navidinia Hossein, the Director of the Office for International Scientific Cooperation, and Seghatoleslami Ali, the Director of Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities of Birjand University.

The Ural Federal University was presented by Sergey Tushin, Vice Rector for International Relations, Vladimir Kruzhaev, Deputy Rector for Research, Elvira Symanyuk, Director of the Ural Institute of Humanities, Evgeniy Naboychenko, Acting Director of the Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Youth Policy, and Maksim Surkov, Director of the Center for Iranian Studies and Persian Language.

During the meeting they discussed the possibility of publication of the scientists of the University of Birjand in the scientific journals of the Ural Federal University, organization of mutual courses of Russian and Persian languages, mutual exchange of athletes and teachers. The scientists of the Ural Federal University also offered their colleagues to conduct a joint study of the impact of the sanctions on the social and economic situation of countries and macro-regions.
