VC KVIB hoists National Flag at Sanat Ghar

 

SRINAGAR : On the eve of 75th Independence Day, the Vice Chairperson (V.C) Jammu and Kashmir Khadi & Village Industries Board (J&K KVIB) today hoisted the National Flag after which National Anthem was played at a function held in the lawns of Sanat Ghar, Bemina here.

On the occasion, Dr. Bhat said that this day teaches us the patriotic role of a citizen and the strength of our country. She added that it is our responsibility as proud citizens of this country to successfully perform our duty for progress, growth and development of the country.

She said that the J&K UT has accelerated its pace of progress for the development works in all sectors besides, powers have been transformed to the grassroots level to ensure better governance in U.T.

She also said that it is an endeavour of the central Government to eradicate corruption in the entire country by introducing Govt. e-filing and online system of e-office so that people can avail the benefits of Govt. schemes hassle free.

The Govt has taken several measures to mitigate the unemployment by introducing different subsidized self-employment generation schemes, Dr Bhat said.

Later on, the V.C distributed cash rewards to 08 Veer Naries and loan sanction letters to 30 Ex-Servicemen and War widows. She also distributed training certificates to the candidates who were imparted training capsules by J&K KVIB under Bee Keeping at 2RR HMT Srinagar and under cutting and Tailoring at Army Goodwill School Sharifabad HMT.

The officers from Industries Department, JK KVIB, entrepreneurs and people from different walks of life attended the function.
