Webinar on Entrepreneurship and Start-up Ecosystem in India
Aligarh : Various stages of incubation, and start-up ecosystem were discussed in a webinar organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, entitled “Entrepreneurship and Start-up Ecosystem of India”.
Presenting a statistical overview of the Indian start-ups Mr. M Pervez Alam, CEO & Director of Crescent Innovation & Incubation Council (CIIC), Chennai, delineated various governmental and private funding options. “For the success of start-ups incubation is very important”, he pointed out.
Mr Alam showed keen interest in collaborating with AMU for providing incubation support to start-ups by both the faculty and students.
There was an enthusiastic interaction between the participants and the speaker.
Earlier Dr M Muzammil, Chairperson and Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department, AMU, delivered the welcome address, while Dr Md Reyaz Arif introduced the speaker.
Prof Saleem Anwar Khan moderated the webinar, which had participation from several Indian and foreign universities/institutions including Malaysia, South Korea, Oman, Jordan, UAE, etc. Faculties and students from several IITs, NITs, AMU and other institutions also participated in the event.
Professor Faisal Talib and Mr Ateeb Ahmad Khan successfully coordinated the webinar.
All the participants were given e-Certificates.
