Week long training of second group of JKAS -19 officers culminates at IMPARD
JAMMU: The One-Week Offline Training of JKAS officers of 2019 batch concluded at IMPARD Jammu campus with a Valedictory programme today. Director General, J&K IMPARD , Saurabh Bhagat presided over the function.
As part of his valedictory speech, Saurabh Bhagat congratulated the trainee officers for successfully completing the training. In his speech, he advised all the officer trainees to work with integrity and dedication for the welfare of the general masses. Further, he acquainted them about the recent initiatives taken by IMPARD in collaboration with National Centre for Good Governance towards mid-career training of our officers.
He also had a one-to-one interaction session with all the officer trainees earlier.
The day concluded with a number of cultural presentations by the trainee officers. Certificates and mementos were distributed among officers for talent display during the course of training. Dr. Tanvi Gupta was selected as the best All rounder Officer trainee from the group.
Director Training, IMPARD Jammu, Dr Reva Sharma presented the Welcome address. Joint director IMPARD also addressed the officer trainees. Later, the Director General also hosted a ceremonial dinner for the officers.
The weeklong training sessions included various sports and cultural activities along with guest lectures and interaction sessions.
Others present at the valedictory included Course Coordinators Dr Neena Bhalla and Dr Ruchi Gupta; Incharge Sports, Manju Kapoor; Incharge cultural activities, Dr Jyoti Sadhu ,Nirmal Singh and Tanpreet Singh, PT Instructors besides other officers of the Institute.
