Weekly Block Divas: ADDC Kishtwar listens to public grievances at Nagseni

25 Domicile certificates; 13 contractor cards issued on spot

 

KISHTWAR : A mega public outreach camp was today held at weekly block Diwas meeting in block Nagseni under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner Sham Lal.

The programme was attended by the BDC Chairman Nagseni, Mohammad Ashraf Choudhary, Sarpanches, Panches and a large number of locals with due observance of COVID-19 protection protocol.

ACD, Kishore Singh Katoch; District Panchayat Officer, Sunil Bhutyal; DSWO Tariq Parveaz Qazi; BDO Nagseni Abhey Indu Sharma, besides officers and key functionaries of other departments were also present on the occasion.

The PRIs highlighted grievances and projected string of demands of their respective Panchayats in particular and of the block Nagseni in general. They demanded up-gradation of local Infrastructure of education, health and road connectivity etc.

After patient hearing, the ADDC resolved many grievances on the spot by passing necessary direction to the concerned officers. He asked the concerned officers to resolve the grievances of people in time bound manner.

The ADDC appealed people to follow COVID 19 SOPs and other guidelines to avoid the fresh wave of Coronavirus.

During the programme the Department of AYUSH distributed immunity boosters and other medicines among the participants.

Meanwhile, 13 Contractor Cards were issued to local youth for participating in tendering of Panchayat level works upto Rs 3.00 lakh , while 25 applicants were provided domicile certificates.

Later, Booklets containing achievements of LG’s administration in the last one year were also distributed among PRI’s.
