WIC India Celebrates Independence Day with Inter-School Dance Competition
Dehradun: The World Integrity Center, India, Dehradun, marked the 78th Independence Day with a vibrant and patriotic Inter School Cultural Dance Competition held within the premises today. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Col. Rakesh Rana.
The Inter-School Dance Competition, themed ‘Viksit Bharat,’ paid homage to the nation’s freedom fighters and celebrated the unity and diversity of India. The competition saw enthusiastic participation from several schools, including Doon International School, Him Jyoti School, Sai Sachi School, Srijan Public School, Saint Kabir Academy, and Pine Hall School.
The panel of judges comprised Director of Kanak Kala Kendra, Veena Aggarwal, Director of Flying Feathers, Wilson Lakra, and Director of Jhankar Dance School, Manorama Negi.
The results of the competition were announced during the occasion. The first prize was won by Sai Sachi School while the second and third prize was presented to Pine Hall School and Him Jyoti Academy, respectively.
Col. Rakesh Rana, the Chief Guest, expressed his admiration, saying, “I commend WIC India for organizing such a meaningful and patriotic event. The performances by all the participating schools were truly outstanding, reflecting the dedication and talent of these young students.”
During the occasion, the judges collectively remarked, “The performances we witnessed today were a testament to the talent and passion of our young generation. Each dance was a powerful portrayal of India’s rich cultural heritage and the indomitable spirit of freedom.”
