Workshop on alternate / digital marketing held at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR : A one day awareness camp -cum-workshop on alternate / digital marketing avenues ameliorating their economic conditions thereby providing a better market platforms at their door step was organized by Horticulture Planning & Marketing Udhampur under the supervision of Area Marketing Officer, Ashwani Kumar here on Saturday.

During the workshop, all India Business head of Reliance retail Ltd. Avinash accompanied by the Regional Head Vishal Arora and Sunil Kumar Singh were introduced as reliant Marketing linkage to the progressive farmers, SHG and Cooperative Society representatives awaring about the objectives and modus-operandi of the reliance retail Ltd and future prospects and how the produce will be transported from their farm to the specific collection Centre and mode of payments.

During the healthy and advantageous discourse, progressive farmers also raised their queries and got them clarified by the Team reliance. All the farmers present in the camp applauded the initiative of the department for such direct marketing linkages taking into account the plight of the farmers.

The Team Reliance also thanked the department for providing a valuable opportunity to interact with progressive farmers of the district and also felt ecstatic to have interacted with them.

Later, the Area Marketing officer thanked to one and all for their valuable cooperation and making it a healthy event.
