Workshop on “Financial Education for Young Women”

ALIGARH : The Department of Home Science, Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), organized a three-day workshop on “Financial Education for Young Women”.

The workshop aimed to provide an insightful session that revolved around awareness, practical knowledge, and risk avoidance regarding Financial Investments and Mutual Funds.

Dr. Akeelurrehman (NISM) conducted the workshop in eight broad sessions for three days as the chief resource person.

Addressing the inaugural session, Dr. Saba Khan, Chairperson, Department of Home Science, highlighted the significance of financial education from a woman’s perspective and urged the participants to make use of the knowledge gained during the workshop.

Ms. Zeba, Programme Coordinator, emphasized the key features of the workshop. She also extended a vote of thanks.
