XLRI Students Participated As Panelists to Discuss Importance of Employee Relations

Kolkata : Students from SAPPHIRE – XLRI recently participated at the 6th National Awanish Dev Memorial Lecture held in Kolkata.

The XLRI students were among the six student panelists selected from various B-Schools to speak in the panel discussion on the theme “Redefining ER Strategy in Digital Era” during the session. During the course of this discussion, students were asked questions by the dignitaries and others in the audience, which were individually answered and further deliberated upon throughout the discussion. The discussion and reinforced the importance that employee relations has today.

The lecture session, organised by Maruti Suzuki and XISS Ranchi to commemorate the Maruti Suzuki Manesar plant incident of 2012, was participated by IR Industry leaders, CXOs, consultants, employee relations professionals, senior executives of companies and top B-Schools of the region.

The student representatives from SAPPHIRE – XLRI said that the opportunity to listen to such personalities was an immense learning experience for them.
