XLRI to hold 10th National HR Conference
Jamshedpur: XLRI- Xavier School of Management, one of India’s premier B-Schools, has been known as a pioneer in the field of Human Resources and Industrial Relations in India, since its inception in 1949. To celebrate this long-standing culture of integrity and professionalism, Students Association for Promotion of Personnel Management, Human Resources, and Industrial Relations (SAPPHIRE) is all set to hold its annual flagship event, the 10th National HR Conference, virtually on 20th and 21st February 2021.
The intent is to provide a platform for corporate leaders from various industries, academicians and legal practitioners to discuss and debate on the various challenges in India’s changing HR landscape, on the lines of this year’s theme: “Driving Agility in the Evolving Post-Covid World”.
A deliberation on the need for organizations to be dynamic while remaining consistent with their strategic intent. A panoramic view from the lens of an organization on how the post-covid times are seen to its internal and external stakeholders. So as the workforce prepares itself to usher in these times of change, XLRI is providing the perfect platform for HR leaders across the length and breadth of the country to congregate along with the brightest HR minds from the best institutions to deliberate and provide new perspectives to view and provide solutions to problems and opportunities of the future.
There will be a special address by Professor Wayne Brockbank from Ross Business School, Michigan on the topic ‘The Way Forward For The Industries In the Aftermath of COVID-19’ on 20th February, between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
The two-panel discussions are planned as a part of the 2-day event are on “Rethinking Employer Branding & Employee Experience in Dispersed Workplace” and “People Analytics: The Power of Digital in Driving Organisational Competitiveness“.
The deliberations in two-panel discussions will be done by industry pundits like Mr. R. P. Srivastava, Director (Personnel & IR) Coal India; Ms. Ira Gupa, Head HR, Microsoft India; Mr. Rohit Thakur, CHRO, Paytm; Mr. Prakash Singh, Chief- Capability Development, Tata Steel; Mr. Amit Vaish, Director-HR, Barclays; Mr. Daisy Chittilapilly, Managing Director of DTO, Cisco India in panel 1 and Ms. Lakshmi C, MD, HR Lead, Accenture India; Mr. Krish Shankar, Group Head HR, Infosys; Ms. Prriti Narain, Market HR Leader, Google India; Mr. Krishna R, Chief People Officer, Flipkart; Ms. Anuranjita Kumar, Founder & CEO, WIT-ACE in panel 2.
On Day-1: The panel discussion will be followed by a workshop by Mr. Sidharath Tuli, “Employer Branding- The Making of a Preferable Employer” and On Day-2 Guest Address by Ms. Anuradha Razdan, Executive Director-HR, HUL will be followed by a workshop by Mr. Avijit Shastri, HR Analytics: The Growing Importance of HR Metrics in a Post-Covid Scenario. The grand finale of the annual HR quizzing league of SAPPHIRE- Battle HR Royale and a three-legged event- HR Triathlon is a special attraction for the students.
