Every year, for the last 14 years, staff and students of IIM Bangalore in association with SPICMACAY, host an assorted audience from all over the city who witness back to back performances of these elite Indian classical artists from dusk till dawn, all this under the starry skies and bonfire lit ambience of the Open Air Amphitheatre at the IIM Bangalore campus.

This year, the event features legends such as Padma Bhushan Awardee Dr. Prabha Atre (Hindustani Vocal), Padma Shri Awardee Kadri Gopalnath (Saxophone), Padma Shri Awardee A Kanyakumari (Violin), Ramon Magsaysay Awardee T M Krishna (Carnatic Vocal), one of the foremost proponents of Kathakali and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Kottakkal Chandrashekaran, and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Nayan Ghosh (Sitar).

As Yamini sets foot in its 15th year in running, it looks forward to being acclaimed as one of the most awaited musical festivals in the city featuring the crème-de-la-crème of the classical world. With a footfall of over 2500 people last year, the IIM Bangalore chapter is looking forward to a similar show of admiration and enthusiasm for Indian cultural performances.
