Youth & Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju unveils platform aimed at fostering growth of start-ups & ventures using the internet

New Delhi: Kiren Rijiju, MoS(Youth Affairs & Sports), Government of India, was the Chief Guest at an event held to unveil a unique concept– IPLIX Media. The event presented a bespoke setting at the Taj Mahal Hotel, here. The minister announced the start of the project -IPLIX Media.

The event was hosted by Jag Chima, a Punjabi NRI who is a serial entrepreneur, motivational speaker & who is well known for having set high standards in fitness industry both abroad & in India and Chima’s partner in IPLIX – Neel Gogia, who is a young digital entrepreneur who specialises in bridging the gap between the influencers and brands. IPLIX is set to revolutionise business growth of ventures by using the internet & social media in a savvy manner. Propagation of fitness ideas & awareness will also be a major plank of the initiative.

Addressing the media, Kiren Rijiju said, “Fitness plays a vital role in our life and should be an integral part of our education system. We all should think on how we should bring a ‘fitness consciousness’ in society to make the nation fit and healthy. I congratulate IPLIX for the initiative.”

We believe such a platform has the strength to help growth of the Indian economy and also provide employment and work to 100s of thousands of young people.” Said Chima.

Adds Gogia, “IPLIX Media will be a one of a kind platform for managing talent in India & help people use influencer marketing to build brands and expand business.”

The event also had another objective – to unravel and discuss the potential that brand building and influencer marketing can have on any product or service. To drive home the importance of these two critical aspects of any venture, two very pertinent panel discussions were also held.

The Influencer Marketing discussion was quite informative. The panel saw participation of hosts Neel Gogia and Jag Chima, Salim Khan – MSK, Abhinav Mahajan, Tanya Khanijow, Rohit Raj, Shlok Srivastav and Niharicka Singh. The power packed panel discussed threadbare the prospects presented by Influencer Marketing in the social media space and how this can be leveraged by brands and ventures to grow organically. The Brand Panel saw very engaging talks by hosts Neel Gogia and Jag Chima. What’s more,Nirav Shah, Digital Marketing Head – SYSKA shared his expertise too with the audience. Hitesh, Founder – The Man Company, Vijay Sharma, Gympac and Jim Donnelly,Restore were the other panelists who shed light on the art of building brands.

It is noteworthy that Jag Chima has also Co Founded the famous Kris Gethin Gyms along-with Kris Gethin – the iconic fitness trainer. Together they have transformed bodies of Bollywood actors like Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham, Ranveer Singh etc. Chima also initiated Physique Global in India, a-fitness mentoring and educative Service for fitness enthusiasts around the world. What’s more, he completed a Delhi-Mumbai bicycle ride in six days to raise awareness about need for fitness. Chima is also a philanthropist, in April 2017, Jag completed a triathlon and raised thousands of pounds for a Home for unwanted, abandoned girls in Punjab, in Jalandhar.
