CHE master ranking: Mannheim business administration top nationwide
In the current student survey for the master’s ranking by the Center for University Development (CHE), Mannheim’s business administration came out on top in all categories.
At the University of Mannheim, the master’s degree in business administration can be studied very well. This is shown by the current CHE university ranking for master’s courses. The Mannheim Master in Management is in the top group in all eight categories and thus – together with the Technical University of Munich and the inter-university degree in Finance and Information Management (FIM) – receives the most top ratings nationwide. The Mannheim master’s courses in economics and business informatics were also rated in the ranking. These achieved top positions in the categories “transition to master’s degree” and “course offerings” and were in the middle of the field in the other evaluations.
For the ranking, enrolled students are surveyed regularly. Their verdict on Mannheim’s business administration is better or much better in the assessed categories of general study situation, course offerings, study organization, support during studies, supervision by lecturers, academic relevance, support for studying abroad and the transition to a master’s degree (including the overall study situation, stays abroad and Science) than the national average.
The CHE ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in the German-speaking area. Over 120,000 students at more than 300 universities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands are regularly surveyed by the Center for University Development.
The results of the ranking are available online at https://ranking.zeit.de/che/de/masterranking and in the print edition 1/2021 of the ZEIT Campus magazine.
