The Delegation of the European Union hosted annual events dedicated to interaction within the network of EU Information Centers in Russia.
EU Information Center PetrSU took part in the annual events of the EUiC network, organized by the EU Delegation in Russia.
In his opening speech, the EU Ambassador to Russia, Mr. Markus Ederer, congratulated Petrozavodsk State University on the past anniversary and expressed his hope for continued fruitful cooperation between the Representative Office and PetrSU.
As part of a two-day program of online events, representatives of the universities on the basis of which the centers operate, made presentations on their activities in the context of the pandemic and the forced transition to a remote mode of operation.
As part of an open discussion, representatives of the centers discussed the challenges facing the network on the threshold of 2020-2021. The discussion resulted in a number of promising proposals for organizing joint activities of the centers.
The EU Information Center of PetrSU made a proposal to organize internal academic mobility for students whose research interests include European studies and the sphere of international relations. Colleagues from EU centers in other universities put forward ideas about joint competition programs, expanding the network, looking for new contacts among foreign educational organizations.
Traditionally, the final part of the program was training led by a European expert: Alice Milstein, head of the Vitamin C communication agency in Berlin, an expert in corporate psychology and business, held an interactive lesson for the representatives of the centers on the development, formation and maintenance of a personal brand.
