Lecture hall “Man in the world of science and technology”

On February 25, another lecture of the philosophical lecture hall of PetrSU for tenth graders of the Derzhavin Lyceum took place.
At the next lecture, lyceum students got acquainted with the specifics of technical aesthetics and design in a polylogue format.

During the lecture, such key concepts of technical aesthetics as image, morphology, function, technological form, and aesthetic value of a technical device were analyzed. Of particular interest among the tenth graders of the design and technology profile was the profession of systems engineer, who owns the basics of technical aesthetics and is the creator of a technical device from the moment of its invention to the moment of its sale.

The lecture was delivered by Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Culturology, Doctor of Culturology I.M.Suvorova.
