The results of the work of the RUMC VO network and RUMC NWFD ChSU in 2020, issues of assessing the quality and accessibility of higher education for people with disabilities in the network of the RUMC NWFD ChSU, activities of universities in the field of inclusive higher education, including in the implementation of regional programs to support vocational education and employment were discussed. In addition, the prospects for the development of the RUMC network until 2030 are outlined.
PetrSU was recognized as an applicant for the Contest for the best practices of inclusive higher education. The competition is aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of higher education for people with disabilities, at identifying, supporting and further disseminating best practices for teaching and accompanying students with disabilities in educational institutions of higher education, identifying leaders in educational practices in the field of inclusive higher education who have earned the trust of the professional community and beneficiaries of Russia, the development of uniform criteria for assessing existing practices.
At the moment, the Roadmap of events of PetrSU and RUMC of the Northwestern Federal District of ChSU for 2021 is being formed.
