PetrSU student – winner of the All-Russian Olympiad “I am a professional”
Anastasia Kuzmicheva, 5th year student of the Institute of Foreign Languages of PetrSU, became a prize-winner in the fourth season of the All-Russian Olympiad for students “I am a professional” in the category “Bachelor’s degree” in the direction of “Pedagogical education (basic)”.
Competitions in the pedagogical direction were held from December 2020 to April 2021 in an online format.
During the qualifying stage, the student was tested in French and pedagogy. The most interesting for Anastasia was the semi-final:
I had to write the outline for the lesson and then teach the 20 minute Zoom session. The difficulty was that none of the volunteers spoke French. At first I was scared of this, and then I quickly came up with an idea for a lesson. We conducted a mini-research, found out what French words surround us in Russia, what they mean and how to pronounce them correctly.
During the final, Anastasia had to analyze the video of the lesson, answer the test questions, and then take part in a group discussion of a problematic issue of general pedagogical orientation.
Anastasia successfully passed all three stages and became a prize-winner. Such Olympiads are not only an opportunity to test your knowledge and show your skills, but also a great opportunity to enroll for free or at a discount in the magistracy of many Russian universities within 2 years after summing up the results.
