Chess, Carrom tournament for u/17 boys & girls held at Nagseni

KISHTWAR: District Youth Service and Sports Officer Kishtwar, Kharati Lal Sharma, today inaugurated u/17 boys & girls Chess & Carrom tournament here at Nagseni.

Incharge ZPEO zone Nagseni, Suresh Parihar along with Nagseni zone dedicated Sports employees had organised the event at HSS BVM .

Speaking on the occasion, I/c ZPEO Nagseni informed the chief guest regarding previous events & overall participation of students till date.

The Chief guest, in his address, said that as per direction of Director Youth Services & Sports J&K Gazanfar Ali, the department was trying its best to aware the students regarding the benefits of sports, physical fitness and encourage them for participating in more & more school games which benefits them to achieve next goal.

The DYSSO also thanked Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma for his guidance and full cooperation.

Chief guest also praised Suresh Parihar and his team for their hard work.

Meanwhile, as per report submitted by zonal offices, U/17 chess and U/17 Girls inter school tournaments are in full swing at zone Padder, Drabshalla, Kishtwar, Inderwal.
