World AIDS Day observed at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: An awareness programme on World AIDS Day was today held in Government ANM School Kishtwar in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club, J&K AIDS Control Society and J&K Paramedical Council Jammu to educate the students and other healthcare workers regarding the disease.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. R.S Manhas was the Chief Guest on the occasion and the programme was organized by Dr. Vijay Kumar, Principal ANM School Kishtwar.

The Chief Medical Officer Kishtwar advised the participating students and other healthcare staff to take all the precautions to prevent the spread of AIDS/HIV infection while performing their duties in the Hospital. Others who spoke on the occasion included Dr. Chander Parkash, District Immunization Officer Kishtwar along with other faculty members and students of ANM School Kishtwar.
