GCW Udhampur organises Webinar on ‘Education Prospects after Graduation in Humanities’

UDHAMPUR : The Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement Cell of Govt College for Women, Udhampur organised a Webinar through the google meet platform on the topic “Educational Prospects after Graduation in Humanities” under a Series of Seminars/Webinars on the theme “Educational Prospects after Graduation” under the supervision of Prof. Jugal Kishore, Convenor, Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement Cell.

Dr. Monika Sharma, the Principal of the college was the chief guest on the occasion.

The proceedings of the programme were initiated by Prof. Jugal Kishore wherein he welcomed the Chief guest and the august online audience.

Dr. Monika Sharma, Principal of the college, while addressing the audience encouraged and motivated the students for participating in such programmes and congratulated the Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement Cell of the college for organising the event and promised to organise such events in future also. She advised the students to attend such webinars and keep them aware of the ever-changing educational prospects available to the graduates.

Prof. Yash Paul, Department of History, GCW, Udhampur was the resource person on the occasion. In his lecture, he aware the students about the various competitive examinations for various educational opportunities and career prospects covering wide range of subject areas available to them after graduation. Students participated actively in the webinar thereby making the purpose of the event successful under the leadership of Ms. Neesha, college student Council President.

At the end the formal vote of thanks was given Dr. Amit Kumar, Member, Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement Cell, Mr. Arun Gupta, Librarian was also present on the occasion.
