Short term course for Aligarh Muslim University faculty members
Aligarh: To observe the eventful centenary year of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), an online short term course on ‘Continuous Professional Development’ for academicians is being organised by the university’s Malappuram Centre in collaboration with the UGC HRDC, University of Kerala and MES Pillai College of Education and Research, Mumbai.
Faculty members of universities and colleges from across the country are participating in the course, said Dr Faisal K P, Director, Malappuram Centre.
At the online inaugural function, Dr Reni Francis (Principal, MES Pillai College of Education and Research) and Dr Mary George Varghese, (Faculty member, MES Pillai College of Education and Research) said that the course will help the participants to update themselves with new pedagogical methods, which have become important in the wake of the Covid19 pandemic.
“The course is running with the MOODLE learning management system,” informed Mr Naseerali M K (Department of Education, Malappuram Centre).
The course will conclude on September 27, added the Programme Coordinators, GhalibNashter, Shafeequrrahman KV and Dr Muhammad Basheer K.
