A new master’s program opens at the IEP
A new master’s program “State and Municipal Finance” is opening at the Institute of Economics and Law of PetrSU.
The program provides training for highly qualified specialists in the field of state and municipal finance, who are in demand in state and municipal authorities, in state and municipal institutions.
The program is designed for both graduates of previous years with an economic education, and graduates of non-economic areas.
The main special disciplines are “Topical issues of finance”, “Modern monetary system”, “Taxes and the tax system of the Russian Federation”, “Development of the budgetary structure of the state”, “Financial mechanism of public procurement”.
The master’s program is implemented by a team with many years of experience in preparing students, conducting scientific research and expert activity in the field of state and municipal finance, working in close cooperation with financial authorities at the state and municipal level.
As part of the practice, students are engaged in research work on the topic of the dissertation, as well as gain practical skills in the profile of professional activity in state and municipal authorities, in state and municipal institutions.
The diploma will say: qualification “Master” in the direction of 38.04.01 “Economics”, the direction “State and Municipal Finance”.
Graduates will be able to work in financial services of state and municipal authorities, in state and municipal institutions.
In addition, graduates can continue their education in postgraduate studies at PetrSU and other universities in Russia.
During the training, students undergo an internship (practice) in state and municipal authorities, in state and municipal institutions. Students in the magistracy receive increased scholarships for success in their studies and scientific work, scholarships from the Oxford Russian Foundation, the Vladimir Potanin Foundation.
