AMU faculty gets award

Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) faculty member, Prof Seema Hakim from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology got the ‘Dr Raj Baweja Appreciation Award’ for significant contributions to the Uttar Pradesh Chapter of Obstetrics and Gyanecology (UPCOG).

She received the award in the inaugural ceremony of ‘33rd Conference of UPCOG-2022’ at Meerut.

Prof Seema has been associated with the UPCOG for over 30 years and since 2009, she has been conducting UPCOG quiz contests for PG students on different subjects and areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Annual conferences.

In 2022, she conducted the quiz on ‘Labour and Delivery’ with her colleague, Dr Nazia Ishrat.
