AMU faculty to join CIMPA training in Albania

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) faculty member from the Department of Mathematics, Dr Javid Ali has been awarded a full grant to attend the ‘Centre International De Mathématiques Pures Et Appliquées’ (CIMPA), an intensive two-week summer school on ‘Mathematical Methods in Data Analysis’ at the University of Tirana, Albania.

He will train in a variety of selective contemporary mathematical and computational topics in data analysis and imaging. The course focusing on the use of relevant mathematical softwares, algebra and convex geometry in data analysis will commence from July 18 and conclude on July 30.
