Awareness Van launched in Poonch to mark World Water Week 2021

Poonch: To disseminate awareness regarding water conservation and preservation, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Dr. Basharat Hussain today flagged off an Awareness Van here from the DC Office Complex.

ASP, Khalid Amin; ACR, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi; Xen PHE, Rajinder Kumar and other officers were present.

In his address, the Additional Deputy Commissioner highlighted the objective of celebrating water week. He said it was aimed at spreading awareness among the people about judicious use of water, preservation of water resources and water bodies.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that the District Administration is committed to provide drinking water supply to all the households of the district and for this a number of measures are being taken to mitigate the sufferings of the common masses.

The ADC also informed that during the weeklong programme series of awareness events will be held to make the people aware about the wter conservation.
