CentraleSupélec and ESSEC Business School are joining forces to create a new hybrid and innovative program: the Bachelor in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Management .

This is an international post-baccalaureate program with the ambition of training young people in the techniques of data analysis, artificial intelligence and management. The training will be sanctioned by a single diploma co-delivered by the two institutions.

This program trains and equips young people with a robust quantitative background and business intelligence that will enable them to responsibly and sustainably support organizations and societies in their development and in the transitions they face today. “, explains Hugues Levecq , executive director of the program.

This combines the teaching resources and pedagogical expertise of two Grandes Ecoles, to enable students to have an in-depth knowledge of models and scientific methods of data analysis, to develop solid skills in mathematical modeling and computer science. , and to acquire a solid generalist base in the disciplines of administration and management.

The program is a full-time course, taught in English, which combines the disciplines of management and those of data analysis and artificial intelligence. Lasting 4 years (240 ECTS), it is taught in English and offered on the ESSEC (Cergy) and CentraleSupelec (Saclay) campuses. This program is aimed primarily at young graduates who wish to acquire a bi-disciplinary training in data management and analysis. The program adopts a proven and renewed pedagogy that combines academic contributions, personal and professional experiences, and international immersion.

The program is organized in teaching semesters. The four years are therefore divided into 8 semesters.

The first five semesters are devoted to the teaching of fundamental subjects in management, economics, mathematics and statistics, computer science, data science and artificial intelligence.
Students must complete a three-month internship in a company during the summer, at the end of their 2nd year.
In semester 6, students go to study at a partner university or school. They have the possibility of orienting their choice of courses towards management disciplines, engineering or a mix of these two disciplines.
In semester 7, students work on a corporate research project (Corporate Research Project), and have a wide choice of elective courses (choice which will expand with the increase in the number of students in the program).
Semester 8 is devoted to the six-month internship in a company. This internship can take place in France or abroad.
This program will welcome its first students in September 2023 for the 2023-2024 academic year. Students will be admitted on the basis of an application file, a math test and a motivational interview. The size of the first promotion will be 40 to 50 students . The objective is to constitute a cohort composed of 60% to 65% of international students.

At the end of the program, graduates will be able to enter the labor market in professions ranging from management to technical data analysis. They will also be able to deepen their knowledge and specialize within the framework of a Master’s degree in France or abroad.
