Civil Defense Day at PetrSU
From 4 to 8 October, within the framework of the events of the All-Russian open lesson on the basics of life safety, timed to coincide with the Civil Defense Day of the Russian Federation with students of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, teachers of the Department of Life Safety and Health-Saving Technologies held thematic classes. The events were held in 12 study groups, 172 students took part.
The format of the training sessions was varied: lectures “National Security of the Russian Federation”, “Civil Defense of the Russian Federation in Modern Conditions”, “On Fire Safety for Children”, the creation of the “Civil Defense” system; practical lesson “Algorithms of human actions in emergency and dangerous situations”, distance quiz “Civil defense: yesterday, today, tomorrow.”
Topics covered include:
The history of the creation of the “Civil Defense” system;
The structure of the “Civil Defense” system and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation;
The contribution of civil defense to the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the tasks of civil defense in peacetime.
How to behave if there is an explosion or shooting on the street;
How to behave if there is a fire, smoke, chemical or radiation contamination in the building;
How to behave if a building collapses.
Student Victoria Alisova, 4th year, direction of training “Pedagogical Education (Life Safety and Physical Education)” held a lesson on the topic “History of Civil Defense” in the first year group. Students showed interest in the topic of the lesson, actively answered the quiz questions.
The teachers of the department, associate professor Olga Aleksandrovna Lomova, associate professor Anna Aleksandrovna Pashkova, senior teachers Elena Sergeevna Galashova, Ksenia Aleksandrovna Nikitina and Tatyana Nikolaevna Kalabina used interactive teaching methods during the classes: quizzes, presentations and video materials for the Civil Defense Day of the educational and methodological center for civil defense and emergencies …
At a practical lesson, which was conducted by Lyubov Evgenievna Blazhevich, associate professor, candidate of biological sciences, and Olga Evgenievna Smirnova, senior teacher of the department, students demonstrated the ability to apply various types of bandages.
50 students of the training direction “Pedagogical Education (Life Safety and Physical Education)” took an active part in the distance quiz (moodle platform) showed a good level of knowledge in the field of human security and the peculiarities of the civil defense system.
