DIC Ramban holds awareness camps on PMEGP

RAMBAN : District Industries Centre (DIC), Ramban today organized an awareness camp here at Phalti to sensitize the people about the flagship Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme(PMEGP) and other schemes in industrial & service sectors.

While welcoming the participants, General Manager DIC Ramban, VishwaJeet highlighted the schemes being implemented by the UT as well Central Government to encourage the youth to become job creators instead of job seekers.

The GM asked the participants to register themselves with the DIC to take benefits / subsidies of various youth and beneficiary oriented schemes. He also highlighted the component of different schemes, besides encouraging them to start their small ventures under the PMEGP in manufacturing and services sectors.

The FM, DIC Ramban, Sunil Kumar also sensitized the participants about procedures and various formalities required for registration under MSME and uploading of application forms under PMEGP scheme besides the benefits of enrollment with DIC.
