Elevator to the future with Segezha Group

Within the framework of cooperation between the Segezha Group of Companies and Petrozavodsk State University, an online meeting was held on the issue of the career guidance event “Lift to the Future with Segezha Group”.
The meeting was attended by Director of Personnel Management of JSC “Segezhsky PPM” N.А. Lebedeva, head of the group of selection, development, assessment of personnel and social issues of the Directorate for personnel management of JSC “Segezha PPM” D.N. Klementyev, Director of the Career Center of PetrSU I.V. Kononova, Director of the Interdistrict Resource Center of PetrSU in the city of Segezha E.Yu. Gusev.

During the meeting, issues of holding an intellectual career day “Elevator to the Future with Segezha Group” for university students were discussed. The event is organized by the Segezha Group of Companies (part of AFK Sistema), the Sistema Charitable Foundation (operator of social investments of AFK Sistema) and Petrozavodsk State University.

Career Day will take place online on December 17th and will include lectures, workshops and practical exercises on the topic of successful employment. Students will learn what kind of employees are in demand now, how to undergo practical training and internships during the period of self-isolation, the secrets of effective self-presentation and competitiveness in the labor market. Experts from the Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill, the Center for Automation Systems of PetrSU, and the Sistema CF will speak for the children. At the end of the event, the most active participants will be presented with career advice and prizes.

During the event, a presentation of the all-Russian educational platform “Lift to the Future”, created by the CF “Sistema”, will take place. On this platform, the most useful and interesting material is collected in a convenient format: training programs, capacious and relevant courses, mini-series about professions, a constantly updated bank of vacancies in AFK Sistema companies, including those for internships and part-time jobs, career guidance tests. There is a chat where you can get answers to any questions. Training courses on the platform are compiled and conducted by experts from AFK Sistema, therefore, success in training and passing tests immediately falls into the field of vision of recruiters, to a special HR hub, from where they are further transmitted to fill the current vacancies of the corporation.

At the end of the meeting, we agreed to continue joint preparation of the “Elevator to the Future with Segezha Group” event. It should be noted that JSC “Segezha PPM” has been a strategic partner of PetrSU for many years.
