FICCI Flo Uttarakhand, Chapter Sign MoU with School of Agriculture, Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun.

Dehradun : FICCI Flo Uttarakhand, Chapter today signed MoU with School of Agriculture, Sri Guru Ram Rai University.

Under this agreement, FICCI Flo will provide training of modern technology in the agriculture sector to women working in the agriculture sector. FICCI Flo will train women across the state by taking information from the experts of Germany, Italy, France and European countries which are using modern technology in agriculture.

Dr. Neha Sharma, Chairperson of FICCI Flo Uttarakhand Chapter said “We are very happy that today an MoU has been signed with Ficci Flo and Sri Guru Ram Rai University, School of Agriculture, Dehradun. Under this agreement, women of Uttarakhand associated with the agriculture sector will be trained by FICCI Flo to use modern techniques adopted abroad in the agriculture sector in collaboration with Sri Guru Ram Rai University’s School of Agriculture, Dehradun. So that she can get maximum income by learning agriculture related techniques. FICCI Flo is already making women entrepreneurs, women self help groups  and startups of the state by providing various types of training and support to women to make them self dependent and progressive.”

Professor, Dr. U. S. Rawat, Vice Chancellor, School of Agriculture, Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun said, “FICCI Flo is known for making women empowered and self-reliant in the state.  To make women self-employed, self-reliant; we have signed an MoU with them in the field of agriculture, which will train women with modern techniques related to agriculture used in foreign countries.”

On this occasion Anuradha Malla, Senior Vice Chairperson, FICCI FLO Uttarakhand, Chapter  and Dr. Deepak Sahni, Registrar, Dr. Lokesh Gambhir, Dean, Research, Dr. Priyanka Bankoti, Dean Agriculture Sciences, Dr. Malvika Kandpal, Dr. Sunita Singh, School of Agriculture, Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun were also present.
