One day National Faculty Development Workshop held at GDC Ramnagar

UDHAMPUR : A one day “National NAAC Related Faculty Development Workshop” was today organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government Degree College Ramnagar.

Prof. Dharmadhikari N.S, Eminent Educationist, Member NAAC peer team and UGC Committee from Pune (Maharashtra) was the Resource Person for the workshop.

At the outset, Dr. Udhey Bhanu, Principal and Chairperson of the program, welcomed the Resource Person and also expressed his gratitude for accepting the invitation.

Prof. Dharmadhikari, in his address, highlighted the important quality initiatives that can be undertaken by the College for improving its grade in the NAAC accreditation. He also stressed on the proper framing of the reports that are submitted for the NAAC process.

In the afternoon session the Resource person had interaction with staff of different Departments and suggested the focus areas for development of the College as per the requirements of the NAAC.

Prof. Brinder Kumar, Convener IQAC, coordinated the whole proceedings.

The workshop was attended by faculty members of GDC & GCW Udhampur including IQAC coordinators Prof. GR Verma, Prof. Suneel Singh including all the staff members of GDC Ramnagar were also present.

Later, the workshop concluded with the vote of thanks by Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra, Convener Academic Development Committee.
