PetrSU employees were awarded state awards

In the hall of the Noble Assembly of the National Museum of Karelia, the residents of the republic who were awarded state awards of Russia and Karelia were honored.
The list of awardees includes the names of doctors, teachers, scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs, cultural workers and public figures.

Federal and republican awards were presented to the distinguished residents of Karelia by the Head of the Republic Artur Parfenchikov. Opening the ceremony, the head of the region noted that the past year was not easy.

These tests proved once again that our fellow countrymen can cope with any adversity. How representatives of many professions – doctors and teachers, social workers and transport workers, construction workers and volunteers – coped with new professional challenges during the pandemic. Some of them, people of different professions who have achieved outstanding results in work, we honor today in this hall,

For his great contribution to the fight against coronavirus infection, dedication and high professionalism shown in the performance of medical duties, the Luka Krymsky Medal was awarded to the Professor of the Department of Hospital Therapy of PetrSU, Head of the Department of the Republican Hospital named after V.I. V. A. Baranova Olga Barysheva.

The Honorary Diploma of the President of the Russian Federation was awarded to Professor, Head. Head of the Department of Hospital Therapy of PetrSU, therapist of the Republican Hospital named after Baranov Natalya Vezikova, Associate Professor of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Radiation Therapy with a Course of Critical and Respiratory Medicine of PetrSU, anesthesiologist-resuscitator of the Republican Hospital named after I.I. V.A. Baranova Arina Spasova.

The honorary title “Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation” was awarded to Andrey Korosov, Professor of the Department of the Institute of Biology, Ecology and Agrotechnology of PetrSU.
