All Scholarship Schemes should be Linked to Aadhaar Numbers
Bhopal : Minister of State for Scheduled Castes Welfare Shri Lal Singh Arya issued directives that all the scholarship schemes of the department should be linked to Aadhaar numbers. Moreover, he directed that the material should be purchased only through Government e Market (GeM) by the department. Shri Arya was reviewing the activities of the Scheduled Caste and Tribal Welfare department today. Principal Secretary Shri Ashish Upadhyaya and Commissioner Smt. Deepali Rastogi were present on the occasion.
Computer Database of Various Schemes should be Prepared
Shri Arya said that the database of various schemes being implemented for children belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes should be prepared. Schemes should be analysed through computer. Moreover, he gave instructions that such arrangements should be made that the Chief Minister could establish direct communication with the children. Cooperation for this should be taken from the IT Department.
Shri Arya told the officials for monitoring of the activities under the schemes being carried out at district level. He said that the letter in this regard should be issued to the Collectors, Divisional Officers and District Coordinators. He issued directives that information should be obtained regarding which panchayats were honoured last year for eradication of untouchability and which Panchayats have been selected this year. Moreover, he also told the officials to collect information about untouchability camps.
Publicity of Achievement through Social Media
Shri Lal Singh Arya instructed to publicize the achievements of the department through social media. He told the officials to publicise the achievements of the schemes of scheduled castes and tribal welfare departments and the number of beneficiaries etc. Shri Arya also gave instructions for preparing an annual route chart for special occasions.
Begin Programmes like Khel Maha Kumbh or Olympic
Minister of State Shri Arya told the officials for honoring the outstanding sports players by the popular sportsmen in programmes. He gave instructions to begin programmes like Khel Mahakumbh or Olympic in major cities at the state level in order to refine sports talent.
Sanitation and Plantation Programme from October 2 to 5
Shri Arya issued directives that sanitation and plantation campaign should be launched from October 2 i.e. Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti to October 5 Maharishi Valmiki Prakotsav in hostels and ashram schools. He also instructed to link the local public representatives with the campaign.
Directives for Starting Bal Sansad
Shri Arya instructed to link Leadership Development Camp with Bharat or Madhya Pradesh Darshan programme. Moreover, he also told the officials to start Bal Sansad for children on the subject ‘Rashtra Nirman mein Yuvao ki Bhumika’. He also instructed to organize debate competition on national level issues and showcase documentary films.
Training to Employees on the lines of Officers
Minister of State Shri Lal Singh Arya told that training to the officers should be imparted through Academy of Administration this year. He also told for training to district level employees at Gwalior, Jabalpur, Indore and Bhopal. He directed that scheme should be prepared for imparting pre loan training to the self-help group. Shri Arya told the scheduled caste welfare department to submit the proposal in order to take the staff from the Tribal Welfare Department to fulfill the staff shortage.
Works of Under Construction Buildings to be Reviewed
Shri Arya directed for linking the Housing Assistance Scheme of Scheduled Castes and scheduled tribe students with the Public Service Guarantee and to evaluate departmental hostel. Furthermore Shri Arya mentioned to hold meeting with the information on progress of the buildings being constructed through PIU and the time limit.
It was informed that 110 couples were benefited under the Antarjatiya Vivah Protsahan Yojana in the year 2016-17. Moreover, 152 self-help groups were benefited in the year 2015-16 and 120 hostels are being constructed through PIU. A pre and post-metric scholarship is being given to around 22 lakh students through online system.
