Students of Trigat Divya Yog Ashram calls on CM Jai Ram Thakur
Shimla: Students of Trigat Divya Yog Ashram Purana Kangra called on the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here today.
The students apprised the Chief Minister that four students of the Ashram have set several world records in Yoga. Nidhi Dogra of Sujanpur has set a world record by doing a specific yoga ‘asana’ for 50 minutes, Ahana Kaushal of Kangra made 10 world records in yoga, Rahul from Kangra made five world records in different ‘asana’ of yoga whereas Sanav Rangania set world record in ‘Natraj asana’.
Chief Minister appreciated the feats of the students in yoga and said that this would go a long way in promoting yoga throughout the world. He also appreciated efforts of the Ashram in sensitizing the people about use of face masks and social distancing in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
Yoga Acharya Ranjit Singh apprised the Chief Minister about various activities of the Ashram. He said that students of the Ashram have been playing major role in sensitizing the people regarding prevention of coronavirus.
