Volural Designated as Resource Center for Training Volunteers for the World Friendship Games

The Volural organization of the Ural Federal University is the center of recruitment and selection of candidates for volunteers of the World Friendship Games 2024. 20 winning centers (out of 470 applications) were announced by the Organizing Committee of the World Friendship Games.

“We would like to thank all the organizations that applied for the competition for the great response! The winners will have the important responsibility of selecting and training over 7000 volunteers to support the organizers in more than 20 functional areas. We are confident that we will be able to form the best team of volunteers,” said Alexey Sorokin, General Director of the Organizing Committee of the 2024 World Friendship Games.

At the World Youth Festival in Sochi, where the introduction of the winning centers took place, Dmitry Loevsky, Vice-Rector for Educational Work, presented the Volunteers of the Urals.

The winning organizations and the Games Volunteer Management team will soon begin processing applications from volunteer candidates at the volunteer centers.

Volunteers of the Urals trained over 70 volunteers for the World Youth Festival that ended in Sochi.
