Workshop on Breast Cancer Awareness

Aligarh: A workshop on awareness on causes of breast cancer among Indian women was organized at AMU-ABK High School Girls, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

The workshop was organized by the Aligs Care Awareness Society, a US based non-profit organization.

Prof Samina Salim, the chief guest of the event informed about the philanthropic activities of the organization.

Dr. Mohsin Raza, senior consultant, delivered an informative lecture and explained the preventive measures to be adopted to reduce the risk of breast cancer.

Dr. Farzana Hadi, gynaecologist, informed the students about self examination, personal hygiene and care.

Dr. Dilshad, one of the workshop organizers also spoke on the occasion.

The programme was conducted by Dr. Farhat Parveen, while Mrs. Shaziya Javed arranged the digital platform for the session.

Dr. Saba Hasan, Vice Principal, AMU-ABK High School Girls extended gratitude to the guests and organizers. Mrs. Kausar Shahab, Mrs. Shaheen Khan, Mrs. Shahnaz and Mrs. Fakhra Yaseen were also present on the occasion.
